Live, Love, Laugh ♥ Coffee Rumpi

Last Saturday night we are back together! Yiippy..the Coffee Rumpi is gathered again. After our last reunion a couple months ago, we're together to celebrating Ade and Poetri's birthday at Kedai Tiga Nyonya, a spacious two-story eatery offering Peranakan cuisine in Menteng, central Jakarta.

Peranakan refers to the descendants of 15th and 16th century Chinese immigrants to Malacca and Java who, over the centuries, blended their culture and traditions with those of Indonesia to produce a unique new hybrid.

Not only for its authentic Peranakan cuisine, but the restaurant design is quite unique, for the homely ambience that is as noteworthy as the extensive menu. The restaurant’s colonial facade.

Filled with Chinese antiques, Kedai Tiga Nyonya is a feast for the eyes. Carved wooden cabinets and mirrors, bird cages , vases, porcelain and even an old nuptial bed are scattered throughout the two floors. Sepia photographs and framed antique kebaya (traditional blouses) also grace the walls of the restaurant.

Because of this attractive design we can't help it not taking pictures in there. So after finished our meal and a long fun chatting we're decided to memorized these moment we had by taking pictures together!

Then the four of us minus Ade, we continued our Saturday night spent time chatting at Starbucks Coffee shop. What a perfect Saturday Night!

We also found a new tagline that could described us,
walaupun kami tidak bersama bukan berarti hati kami tak bertautan,
which means though we are not together does not mean our hearts are not connected.
