Another Day in Paradise, Bali!

Another Day In Paradise

For some reason I always love to go to Bali, the atmosphere is really different with metropolitan city of Jakarta, the people are more relaxed and laid back, and the beach of course I love it!

Although I came to Bali to work but I always feel happy, this is the third time I'm coming to Bali for work. This time I came to do two episodes on a semi documentary, which is about Indonesian native dog breeds from Bali, Kintamani dogs and the second is  the traditional village Penglipuran. Both located in the district of Bangli, the only one district in Bali that has no coastal. But even though this district hasn't have a beach area it still has stunning views of the Mount Batur and Lake Batur.

Mount Batur

So after landing at the airport Ngurah Rai, Bali, I immediately headed to the Kintamani area. After almost a year not go to Bali, Ngurah Rai Airport apparently was renovating. The new buildings would be very pretentious and in accordance with the standards of modern international airport.

The journey to Kintamani is about two hours and a half, I was spending the trip to by sleeping. Hahahaha .. well I've only slept about four hours the night before because I have to get the first flight in the morning.

My work time is really different from usual, why? Because I have to do video shooting about Kintamani dog. Just for your information I don't like dogs because it scares me. If I met dog on the street I just want to runaway. I hate when they started barking it's very intimidating.

I will not my fear against these dogs made it impossible to work. So I take thecourage to be able to deal with these dogs.Initially I was scared because every time I got out from the car they would immediately barking and swarming. But after a while their calm down and actually very quiet so I can start working. I also have to thankful to Pak Made who always loyal accompany us meeting with Kintamani dogs.

After completing the coverage of the Kintamani dog we started the next episode is about the Village People Penglipuran. The village has been designated a tourist village since 1993. The village is very unique because it has the same fence as well as the same building. Some buildings are still traditionally made from bamboo and wicker. The villagers here are still very traditional, but they are very friendly and hospitable.

The view in this village is very beautiful, no wonder a lot of people coming here to take pictures around the housing or in the temple. I even can't help myself not taking pictures.

After my work is done. I spent the remaining time relaxing in the beach. I was invited to visit the Bingin beach which  located in Uluwatu. The beach here is different from the bustling Kuta beach. There are few people in Bingin and I'm not seen many local people, mostly foreign tourists who love surfing.

Yup, this beach is popular with surfers because the waves were quite big. But not just anyone can surf here because many corals and large waves. But definitely the scenery is really beautiful! and of course as usual I can't help myself not taking pictures, I don't know how many photos I took here, it just so cool!

Say Cheese!!!
