Nice to See You Again Surabaya |
Traveling has always been a pleasure for me, either for work or vacation I’ve always enjoyed it. After working in the new company I thought my days of traveling would be over and I’ll spend my days in front of the computer and sitting at my desk. It turns out I can keep up traveling around cities to check on-site projects that my company has been working on it. I feel lucky for all of those experiences. No matter where I am, I had the opportunity to travel.
In April, I went to three different cities in just four days. On the first day, I took an early flight to Surabaya. We were shooting a video for the company video profile. On the next morning, I flew to Bandung and then straight to Sumedang. I spent a night in Sumedang and two days in Bandung. It was a short and tiring journey, but I loved it!

First Time in Samarinda |
Last June, I went to Samarinda, a small town in East Kalimantan. We’re attending local university graduation, where my boss was invited to be a guest speaker. We only spent one night there, but it was my first time visiting Samarinda.
About a month later, I have an opportunity to come back to Bandung and Sumedang to check on one of the company’s projects. Once again, it was a short trip just for one night, but it’s always fun to work out of the office.
In August, I went to Medan, the capital city of North Sumatera Province. Once again, just for one night, and it’s a tiring journey. The flight from Jakarta to Medan took two hours, and we arrived in the afternoon in Medan and arrived at the hotel at night.

Enjoying Durian at Night in Medan |
I can only take a rest for a few minutes before going to dinner and making sure the ceremony's location will be held on the next day. Later that night we went to eat some durian in a durian bar downtown until midnight. I think I ate too much durian because then I felt sick. But thank God, I can have a good night's sleep because I need a lot of energy for tomorrow.
In September I went back to Bandung and Sumedang for just another one-night trip. We went there with a group of journalists to do news coverage about the project's progress.

Sumedang Twin Tunnel |
Well, all of those trips only lasted for one night each, but as I mentioned before, I always enjoy every trip I’ve gone. It’s better to go work out of the office than never right?
I think I’m in a condition of Travsessed: (n.) An obsession with travel.
When all you talk & think about is your past and future trips!
