A Great Place to Work

 Talking about jobs It reminds me about the seminar that I attended last week, the topic was "A Great Place to Work". This seminar is part of the education week that held by American cultural center in @america Jakarta for one week. 

A Great Place to Work is one of the seminars that interest me. Why? because I personally think a work place is a second home to office worker, including me, so I supposed an office should make us feel safe and comfortable. Working certainly will be more fun if we could feel  that, because not everyone can be lucky to get an office that can make them happy and comfortable. I also think when we work we should be able to develop ourselves and pull out the best in us, and compete in a competitive and fair judgement.

So I went to this seminar with my friend and we agreed that the guest speaker are very compatible and yet very informative. They are President Director of Microsoft Indonesia, Industry Head for Google Southeast Asia, Channel Director Asean NettApp and Cloud Computing and Visualization Head Cisco System Indonesia. Not only we could get more information about what is the right definition about a good place to work, we both also fascinated with one of the guest speakers that were very confident with his ability to speak in public, with a charismatic style and of course with his fluently English.

In the end I get an important lesson which is when companies give personal attention to an appropriate employee, it will make them feel appreciated. Feeling valued will build relationships between the company and employees that make them more eager to work. I very strongly agree with this opinion!
